I go to the Tio's on Day Creek all the time and thought I would give this location a try. Yuck! The tables and chairs are filthy dirty. The floors had spills and puddles all over them. My husband even said it looked like a lawsuit waiting to happen ( Somebody pretending to slip and fall in the puddles of water and filth on the floor) Went inside and ordered. EVERYONE there is RUDE. ( I'm not. I try to share a smile of gratitude to others) Food was okay. NONE of the employees wear Food Safety Gloves when cooking and handling the food. That's just nasty! Makes me wonder how dirty and unsanitary the kitchen and behind the counter is.............. The health department should really come see this! I will definitely go back to the Day Creek location next time!

Where do we sit.... Where do we order the food.. The waitress tells us to order over there... Over where??? At the counter.......... So...we order the food.... But when we go to sit down... There are no seats for three people... Excuse me...but there are three of us that need a table... Sit over there.... But those tables are dirty with dishes... It's OK...they'll be cleaned off shortly..... The food was average, The service was OK

Food is okay. I always get heartburn when I eat here. I love Mexican food and that's it close to my house but don't like feeling like crap after I eat so I won't be comin here anymore.

i'm very critical when it comes to mexican food because it is one of my favorite foods and we live in southern california where there are good authentic mex. places everywhere. That being said tio's is surprisingly decent for a mexican restaraunt aimed at white people. what i mean by this is an authentic mexican burrito is meat, onions, cilantro, chile....(beans or rice for combo). throw in peas and corn if you're super authentic. a white person burrito is meat, beans, pico de gallo, sour cream, cheese, guacamole.... I got the asada minus cheese and beans and i have to say it was pretty tasty. i got chips and salsa complimentary with a horchata and got out of the for like $7. i've got no complaints with that! 4 stars

Pretty good mexican food! My sister raves about the hard potato tacos. I'm a fan of the beef flautas. Dinners come with rice and beans. Pretty decent rice and beans, still a fan of the homeade stuff, but this is next best thing. Online ordering makes it real easy to place order. I've ordered online three times now and haven't had any issues.

Great food, good prices, staff is good. Although a bit impersonal. The portions are good, but more importantly the food is always great. Burritos, Tacos and soups are top notch.

  • Raul L.

I really enjoy the food at this place. It's almost exactly like the food that I grew up on. This place definitely has the best tacos in town. If you come here for Taco Tuesday, be sure to phone in your order in advance. The line literally goes out the door.

Whenever I am in Southern California I always go to TIo's Mexican food. Everything I have tried from this place is very good and I would highly recommend it to all of my friends. The staff is very pleasant and the prices are very reasonable.

  • Kursten O.

We came here on a recommendation and we were not impresssed, at all. For starters, the staff was not at all friendly. Not rude, but no smiles or kind attitudes. Our food came out quickly and was hot and freshly prepared. My beans tasted like a can of lard. They were pretty gross. My taco was good though and my husband somewhat enjoyed his food. Bottom line, with so much good competition in the area we have no reason to return.

Me and my husband went there for breakfast because Brandon's was too crowded.I had the chile verde with a side of potatoes. My husband had Menudo.I had to send back my potatoes back, they were sind of soggy.I hardly got any food, it looked like a kids plate! Also my husbands Menudo was mostly broth, it was not hot, and he had to go ask for chiles for it..next time we'll just wait in line at Brandon's with everybody else.

Came here for Taco Tuesday (2 for 1 hard shell), and just found a new favorite local Mexican spot. These tacos weren't the typical run of the mill taco Tuesday tacos, but were delicious, fat, meat-packed tacos of delicious proportions. We also ordered a few sides of beans(which were tasty), and rice(deliciously moist and seasoned perfectly). Considering that I grew up in Baldwin Park, and as a Mexican, know a thing or two about good Mexican food. Salsa wasn't too bad either, I preferred the hot over the mild salsa for sure. So for $15 bucks, got 4 beef tacos, 2 chicken tacos, two plates of beans and rice, and a large horchata, its hard to beat.

  • D. B.

Good Food, Never a smile. I've been to Tio's numerous times and is my go to place for a local taco, but I have to say the staff is NEVER has a smile for the customers! They seem to act like they are prisoners. Don't go there expecting a smile or great attitude because it won't happen. Bottom-line: Good Food, Beer, and unhappy people.

Tios Mexican food is starting to become my favorite Mexican restaurant in RC. It is quite delicious and very authentic feeling. I usually choose the #4 dinner with chicken. It consists of a bean, cheese, and meat burrito with rice and beans on the side. I believe it's like 6 bucks for the meal not including a drink. The unlimited chips and salsa is a nice feature as well. I'm reviewing this location only because I find that it delivers the most consistently delicious food.

    (5)
  • Chris L.

Good food for a reasonable price! I've been coming to Tio's since they first opened and have never had a bad meal. Their chips and salsa is delicious and their tacos are the best in town. Definitely worth trying especially on taco tuesday 2 for 1 tacos.

Is it near Alta loma high school because I just moved here and that's where I go

  • Manuel E.

potato tacos are the bomb! I can't get enough. taco Tuesday is 2 for 1 ($2.60)-hard shell only. burritos have too much beans :( & are skimpy on the cheese. also have great hot salsa!

  • Louana S.

There's a reason that when I come here, there are people waiting in line. Pretty good Mexican food. Good Carne Asada tacos, good taquitos, the chips and salsa are a MUST! Horchata is very good. The sopes are okay. Beans and rices are delicious. Quick, inexpensive, family oriented place. The service is pretty much, " here is your food and if you want something you will have to get up and get it " The staff isn't rude, but it's not Disneyland. Good food though and nice if you want people to leave you alone while you eat and enjoy your meal.

We love Tio's.. Bean Burrito's are the bomb..Huge and full of beans and cheese..Cheese enchilada's are amazing..The sauce they use is mild and has a great flavor..Chicken salad's are delicious..Very plentiful.. Best Part is their chips and salsa. I agree with some of the review's that you don't see Mexican's eating there..But that is due to their restaurants are in predominately white area's..Hello....

really good mexican food, at really good prices. i eat here maybe once a month, or once every couple of months, and the standards are shredded beef tacos (of course), bean and cheese burrito, cheese enchiladas, or chile relleno burrito. i'm not a big fan of the carne asada or carnitas burritos - they are hit and miss,so i avoid them now. the beans are *delicious* and the rice is just OK (being mexican, i've never had a restaurant rice that gets anywhere close to my mom's; the beans otoh, really are special.) the salsa is yummy, and i'll usually order a small container (rather than loading up 20 little plastic mini cups!) i have no complaints about the service; they are super busy most of the time during lunch, esp. on taco tuesday. yes, they may know regulars by first name and order, but they are perfectly polite to everyone (and i wouldn't call myself a regular; i think they recognize my face when i pick up!) yes, gloves would be nice, but you can literally watch them prepare the food behind the counter, and these guys don't mess around; everyone's always hustling! i've never tried their breakfast, so i must do that sometime. bottom line: this is my go-to mexican place when i don't feel like cooking!

    (4)
  • J L.

Carnitas Dinner is Great. Beans are good Rice is better. Potato tacos rock. Taco tuesday 2 for $2. We usually get about twenty. Salsa is good. Chips are mostly good, sometimes over cooked. Tortas are very good. Fresh Brewed Iced Tea = Good. (supprisingly hard to find now days). Staff is less than friendly, but good food makes up for alot.

  • Beatrice B.

Tio's is a quaint little mexican restaurant that has pretty good food but zero service. Most of the workers seem to be on auto-pilot and they are definitely not customer service oriented or friendly! You order your food, get your own drinks, and are ignored. If they run out of a beverage at the fountain,or some condiments, like mild salsa they may or may not refill it . I guess it depends on who you talk to. The chips may or may not be good. Sometimes they are so hard you can't stand it, other times, they are just perfect. The worst time to go is after 7pm because the staff just wants to clean up and go home. The daily special has been the same for 4 months. Go if you just want some food. No atmosphere!

  • Mike L.

Came here for taco teusdays last week and the tacos where great. I was gonna give it a 4 becuase of those and as you can see i have never liked this place. So we went back last tuesday to get some more and we show up and they lost our order and also the person that was in front of us. come on !!!

    (1)
  • Sandi B.

I made sure to eat here as much as possible during a visit here from out of town. Even something as simple as a mini bean and cheese burrito with sauce and cheese on top was wonderful!! Sometimes the service seemed lacking and it looked liked the people working there didn't want to be there but after having the complimentary chips and salsa and getting the food. . . all the rest is forgotten!! It is very cheap compared to most restaurants. The plate I described above was less then $5.

    (5)
  • J M.

Take out food cold. Drove back to return it and they couldn't even bother to apologize. Last time to Tios for us.

    (1)
  • AJ M.

Great carne asada burritos there! Decent price. Not feeling the tables, they are not straight they arch up un the middle.

    (4)
  • Dean G.

We've lived down the street from this Tios for almost 4 years, but only got into it within the last few months. This is usually my go to Friday night dinner or weekend lunch pickup for my boyfriend and myself. I always get takeout and the service is fast even if there is a line when I initially walk in. Their salsa is tasty and we usually pick up a batch for family gatherings. Prices are affordable and they offer lots of variety.

    (4)
  • Alyssa H.

Really, really good beans and I love their rice! I always get the carnitas burrito but add rice in it, The guacamole is ok, not really worth getting a side of. Salsa bar is good though. Love coming here for the dinner combo with a horchata.

    (4)
  • Richard G.

Excellent food, horrible service. Carne Asada burrito is very good. Female cashier is very rude. No greeting and she does not even look up to acknowledge customers while they order.

  • Selina M.

I will never ever go back! We are pretty much regular's at Tio's, and ordered takeout last night. I took a bite out of my chicken taco and began to chew. The flavor was minty!!! I spit our my food and found chewed white gum hiding in the cheese! Now I had worked in the restaurant industry for about 8 years, and I have seen almost everything. Never have, I seen something as disgusting as having chewed, used gum in my food! We called to complain and apparently no one was willing to help. They only the owner can handle complaints and he had left for the night. They even refused to contact or notify him. Again, I am absolutely disgusted that something this ridiculous is even be possible at this place, let alone, their lack of caring when it comes to rectifying the situation. I will never go back.

I work up the street from Tio's and we have lunch here almost once or twice a week. I'm couldn't disagree more with Linda M's review as I don't think it taste's "gringo" at all. My faves are: Fish tacos Chile Relleno CHURROS!!! (when made fresh) Their carnitas is tender and tasty. My co-workers are big fans for the Ranchero burrito but I've never tired it. I'm not a fan of their chicken entrees so I avoid them as a whole. Overall, I gave Tio's 5 stars because I'm always satisfied when I eat at Tio's. Great value, great service and great food.

    (5)
  • Jason J.

I stopped in here with a couple of friends the other week for a quick bite to eat. It wasn't bad...despite the 2 star rating, i actually feel it's more 2.5 stars, but wasn't willing to round up. I guess all in all, I feel the food was lacking a little shine I was looking for when I walked in, but I also feel it's a good option when in a pinch, and given the deplorable lack of restaurants (well at least in quantity) around Chaffey College. At the end of the day, I would go back and probably eat quite happily.

    (2)
  • Anthony S.

The burritos are a good size. The Chile Verde tasted like the pre-made ones you can buy at the store. I should have stuck with the chicken tacos, they are bomb.

    (3)
  • Melissa S.

    Love taco Tuesday!

    (4)
  • Chris M.

Well the salsa suck@! In all honesty I make better Mexican food and I can't cook that good .my first and last visit .

Good food and inexpensive and served fast.

    (4)

The cheese enchiladas are the best! They also have amazing beans and potato tacos. My favorite local Mexican food joint for sure!

First time eating here and I think it was good food. I did try the beef and chicken tacos that alway on sale every tuesday.

    (3)

Nice atmosphere with okay chips and salsa but the food is very greasy

  • Pam P.

I recently got addicted to this place. The only thing I eat here are the FISH TACO Deluxe. My diet consists of fish and vegetables. Tio's fish tacos are perfect for me. Its portion, the price and the taste. I come here twice a week. I think they know me by name already... I've had their potato hard taco. I found it too heavy and greasy. It gave me heart burns. Luckily, the fish tacos haven't given me problems.

I see my whole neighborhood at this restaurant. Everyone eats at Tio's regularly. It doesn't matter what time or day, I see someone I know. To say this is the favorite spot is an understatement. I always get the shredded beef combo burrito with a side of enchilada sauce. I cut the burrito and cover it with sauce. Yummy.

  • Todd S.

I first discovered Tio's back in 2003. A friend of mine had been eating there several times a week so I had to check it out. I tried their carne asada burrito and loved it. I've been a regular customer ever since then. I almost always order the carne asada burrito. They make them just the way I like them with steak, beans, rice, cheese, sour cream, and guacamole. They also include pico de gallo but I order mine without it because I prefer the taste of their salsa. On extremely rare occasion they haven't quite been up to par (bland taste or gristly steak) but thankfully that has only happened a few times over the years. The people who work there are always friendly and the service is fast even when they are busy.

I live down the block from this place and i love it. My bf and I go here all the time and get take out all the time and I can honestly say (knock on wood) that I haven't had a bad experience once. The staff is always nice and my pick up orders are always ready when i get there. What I love there: - THE SALSA, THE SALSA, THE SALSA ( i mix the mild and the spicy together) - The chicken tacos!!!!!!! To die for!! AND, they still taste pretty damn good the next day! - The beef tacos!!!! - The chicken salad!! Honestly, everything is good here. I usually get the taco and cheese enchilada combo . . . i pour the hot sauce on every bite of my chicken taco. And I smother my cheese enchilada with sour cream ( love their enchilada sauce - get extra!!). Another side note, they do have a coupon that comes in the mail sometimes (i think its in the pennysaver). If you are ordering take out on a Friday night - call in advance!!

    (5)
  • Linda M.

Tios is great for a quick Mexican fix...its kind of "gringo" though. Not much pizzazz in their flavors....but for the money and the convenience its a quick meal. The staff is always pleasant, and friendly.

Sadly, I had the same experience Mike L from Fontana had.

  • Marcus G.

I love to come to the Haven and Lemon location because of the Coke Freestyle Machine. I usually will get the carne asada plate, enchiladas, or beef hard shell tacos. The food always comes out hot and tasting freshly-prepared, and the portion sizes are good for the money.

    (5)
  • Dana C.

My family loves this place. The food and prices are great! They remember you, and miss you when your gone. Service is quick and easy. Taco Tuesday is alaways crazy, but you can't beat the food or the prices! They should open more locations!

    (5)
  • Catherine A.

Love, love, love this place! The hardshell tacos are amazing and their salsa is great too. I have been going here for years the prices are very good & the food is always delicious. I do prefer this location to the one on daycreek but if you are going with a large group daycreek has more seating.

  • Natalie B.

My friend suggested this place to me because I was complaining that I haven't found a good Mexican restaurant in Rancho. I got flautas and a tacos and my dad got the carne asada burrito. I really enjoyed it. They have a Coca-Cola Freestyle machine that has multiple flavors of soda . They serve horchata but not orange bang that I love. The cool thing about this place is you can call in orders to-go. The actual seating area is casual and kinda small but the food makes up for the environment. I'll be coming back here again.

3.5 Stars My husband and I are always at the Tio's off of Day Creek where the Sprouts is. They recognize us there and ask "Where've you guys been??" if we skip a week or two. We decided to try the one on Lemon Avenue over the weekend (same owner). Although Tio's isn't the best Mexican food I've had, it still hits the spot when we are craving (especially the Chilaquiles and Chile Verde). We came in around 10:30AM for brunch and ordered two Mexican salads (one with chicken and one with beef). The salads come with guacamole, sour cream, and salsa on top (no dressing). This Tio's has one of those fancy touch screen soda machines. (Oooh, Ginger ale...) The negatives to this location are definitely the parking lot (It's more spacious at the Day Creek location) and the seating because it's kind of cramped inside. Other than those differences, everything else is the same. Chips and salsa and menu items. Check out @Rancho_Cucamonga_Eats on Instagram. 45/100 Reviews for 2015

Taco Tuesday! Very good tacos in beef, chicken, or potatoe (potato) $1.49 each. Fresh chips made daily and fresh salsa also made daily. Staff is very friendly and always greet me with smiles. If you like cheese, try the Texas cheese enchilada. It is Texas sized and very, very cheeeeeeeeeesyyyyyyyy!

Love there food and taco Tuesday is a must. I will bring my friends and family for some good ole Mexican food when they ask for a good meal

  • Doctora H.

They should be called American Mexican food. Very disappointing the tacos are below minimum expectations and expensive. Don't get carnitas or asada it's blasphemy that this place calls itself Mexican. If your white and don't know anything about Mexican food then yes this place is good for you. If you are looking for real Mexican tacos don't come here they use Guerrero tortillas de maiz :-/ I won't be coming back.

Poor quality meat. Salsa and enchalada sauces all tasted ketchup-y. Will not be dining here again in the future.

I'm from Texas and have been living here for 2 and a 1/2 years. Tio's is the only Mexican food I will eat and if I don't venture to other places, I am always left super disappointed. I always go to the location on Lemon Ave since the one on day creek is sub-par. Thank you Tio's for being my #1 choice when it comes authentic Mexican grub.

Yum yum. This places hot source was great Try most spicy one I like this restaurant for family casual dinner

Mediocre Americanized Mexican food. Cheap ingredients and service without a smile. Their tacos are all hard shell and nothing like the tacos you find in Mexico. Come here if all you want is cheap, salty, greasy American Mexican food.

  • Deb B.

Best Mexican food in the area - inexpensive and casual - it's the place you run to when you don't want to cook and want something fast **love doing takeout for gatherings here - taco Tuesday is the best

I was really hungry after sitting in the Drs office for 2 hrs, so I decided to try this place instead of going to Del Taco. Let's start with the food. I ordered the #9, which is 2 enchiladas, beans and rice. And if you are eating there, you get an order of chips and salsa. I also got a Horchata to drink. The food was good and seasoned well enough for me. Now, onto the CUSTOMER SERVICE. That was just non existence. The lady that finally greeted me was cordial and that was about as far as it went. The other lady that was there barely made any contact with me BUT the other customers got her full undivided attention. Shame on you OLD LADY. Will I return to this establishment? I might.

I love this place, food is good and the Salsa is just awesome. Almost want to drink its so good. Its just a great casual place to grab a good bite.

So disappointed by this place. I'm only giving it two stars because the chips and salsa were decent and because of their Coke machine. But instead of investing in that, they should have invested in some decent cooks and service. We watched everyone else in the place get served within minutes but we waited over 20 minutes for our food. About 30 seconds before I was about to ask for my money back and leave, an employee came out and practically tossed our plates at us and mumbled something about "sorry." What came out of that kitchen was just plain terrible. I had a carne asada burrito that I couldn't even touch even after letting it cool off for five minutes. It was beans, cheese, a TON of sour cream and then one large hunk of meat. Flavor? No. My wife had chicken flautas that were only halfway cooked and extremely bland. You could buy better pre-mixed store-bought guacamole than what they served us at Tio's.

Tio's is the best Mexican restaurant in town. Their food is excellent, the service is good, and the prices are reasonable. Dining room is tight at main lunch and dinner hours, so we try to go mid afternoon, or late morning.

Always get tacos here the hard shell with shredded beef.. Especially taco Tuesday it's worth it buy one get one .. Staff here sucks but I gave four stars for the actual food.. Can never go wrong with this place ..

  • Mathew M.

I love this place! If you feel like taco Tuesday and you are tired of little street tacos, you have to come here! These tacos are humongous hard shell tacos that are bogo. Service is awesome as well

Great food....great prices. Food is some of the best Mexican in the area, and they cater. Love the enchiladas and tacos!!!! However, all their food is very good.

    (4)
  • James Michael S.

Greasy tortilla chips and burritos slathered in ranchero sauce...what more could you ask for. If you think this is just another hole in the wall Mexican food place...you are right. But what's wrong with that??! The food may be heavy, oversauced, and sometimes a bit bland, it is all prepared fresh and prepared quickly. It's a good place with decent prices.

This place was so unmemorable and disappointing that I had to drive past it today to remember the name so I could review it! We had heard several good things about the food here, but I think my friends must have been thinking about a different location. I should have known something was wrong when we drove up right in the middle of the Monday lunch rush and there were only about five other diners there! When we got there, the beverage station was out of order, so we were served canned Cokes that weren't even cold! No one bothered to tell us that the ice dispenser in the beverage station still worked. I ordered two pork tamales with cheese and red sauce. When they were served, one tamale was about 50% bigger than the other one. They tasted like they came from two separate batches--the smaller one had an ample amount of pork, but the pork was very dry and overcooked. In fact, it was so overcooked that it was crunchy! The larger tamale was 90% cornmeal, with even less pork than the first one, but at least it was not overcooked. My meal companion ordered a beef burrito, and his was so flavorless that he left most of it on the plate. Needless to say, we'll never go back.

Best Taco Tuesday Ever! They are the only taco tuesday place that sells shredded beef/chicken hard shell tacos. The only complaint I have is the seating, I know its crowded for a reason but its uncomfortable standing around waiting for a table. Maybe it would be a good idea to put some tables outside for Tuesday?

    (4)
  • Valerie M.

Below average. Taco Tues is jus tolerable..packed & employees are rude. 1 star.. Im used to eating real mexican food, not a plate of lettuce w so called mexican food on the side!! Only reason this place makes cash, is the location. Smart business, not so good food.

  • Sara A.

love the tacos, love the salsa....but the manager or whoever the supervisor was was the night i was there was kinda mean to me because i took like a lot of salsa cups.....but i also bought a whole 22 tray full of tacos....so i mean so what?.....just from that I go to the one off day creek....because they arent so stingy salsa wise.

    (3)
  • Segundo S.

This place is small, but the food packs a bunch. The shreded beef is mouth watering. The "taco tuesday" run here is very good. The prices here are fair. I luv coming here for my taco/burrito fix. I can fairly say that they know what their doing here. Only bad side to this place, it's small and seating is limited. But that will not stop me from coming over and over again. Definitaly a must try.

  • George H.

I really like this place! The salsa is delicious, and the Machaca burrito, wet with no egg, is fantastic - enough for two meals.

    (5)
  • Sally M.

The breakfast burritos are straight out of your Abuela's kitchen. This place has some great (what I would consider authentic) Mexican food. I love the prices and the horchata. They also have one of those fancy Coca Cola soda dispensers that gives you about 100+ options if you're not into horchata. Call ahead to place your order for pick up! It's not too big of a place to accommodate a large group. Seriously though try the breakfast burritos if you can make it in that early.

    (5)
  • Gmo Q.

Good Mexican food. The best 'taco Tuesday' around the area, I think. Reasonably- priced meals and good portions. My only complaint is their salsa isn't that great --being a Mexican restaurant, they could do better in that respect. Overall, I enjoy going to this place regularly.

    (5)
  • Stacy H.

Gotta love me some Tios! The food is delicious, very cheesy! Make sure to try Taco Tuesday! It will be very crowded though! Although the restaurant isn't always spotless, it's totally worth it! You can phone in your order and come pick it up for home as well. The parking lot can be tricky, but don't give up!

    (4)
  • Richard S.

Best hard tacos and enchiladas I have had anywhere in the area. Prices are very reasonable. You can order one each of both of these for about $4.25 total. You get complementary chips and salsa also. Very satisfying.

I love Taco tuesday at Tios!!! I've ordered tacos to-go multiple times for different occasions. The food has always been good, however sometimes on tuesdays they're a little congested due to a small entry way for to -go ...last time My tacos were cold because i waited behind people forming a line to even check in for to go. I can't complain too much behind that comment, its not their fault there tacos are so popular. I've ordered for parties and it was a hit. The staff has always been friendly and working as fast as they can to handle the madness of taco tuesday. They don't have a large amount of tables inside but when its not too busy you can enjoy a change of scenery in a mexican style environment. The color of the walls and pictures are very authentic, and if you have kiddos....Get them a churro! they're delicious !!

I go here often, food is always terrific. The best rice in the business. I usually do a Carnitas burrito or a two taco combo. Beef tacos are stuffed full of whatever meat you want. The carnitas are tender and very tasty. I usually order my food via phone and pick it up within 10 minutes. I have the number on speed dial.

Tio's is somewhat of a hole in the wall kind of place here in Rancho Cucamonga . It's mostly used for take out orders. The staff is polite but this is not a place to come and expect to be served by a friendly person who enjoys serving.. No no no. You can sit down and you will get your meal taken to you but there is absolutely no customer service. This is just the way it's run. The food never disappoints. It's Mexican American food you can make at home. Nothing special and it's a bit overpriced if I might add. They have an ok little salsa bar. I love carrots in "escabeche". I like Tios special fries.. Come here for take out :) call ahead.

I'm obsessed with Tios! Especially for taco Tuesday! Their shredded beef tacos are my go to - their beans are delicious - & their salsa is my all time fav! I could literally eat here every week & never get sick of it!

I don't know what they use to make their food but every time I eat here it always makes me feel really sick and nauseous for the rest of the day. I know it's not me because I've had Mexican food many times before from many other Mexican restaurants and never had that issue so I don't know what they cook with but it always gives me the worst indigestion every time.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
